School Fun Walk to Launch The Let’s Build It Fundraising Campaign

The School Fun Walk is on this Saturday, May 23rd beginning at 2pm. The children have not received sponsorship cards this year as this walk marks the launch of our fundraising drive for the new school development. For the foreseeable future all fundraising will come under the same umbrella and together we can make our new school a reality.
The following are the important points relating to the upcoming walk:
- Parking: In the interest of safety we don’t want any cars parked between the school and Peg’s shop as this is part of the walking route. Space is available by Dairygold Co-op, off the road behind the old school or perhaps the church yard / Resource Centre
- The school will be open for use of toilets.
- Children/parents are requested to be in the school field at 1:50pm. Each will be given a high visibility vest and everyone will leave together through the pitch gate.
- Dogs are not allowed.
- Any parent who can volunteer to help on the day
- Any parents who can volunteer to help on the day, would you please text Denise Murphy on 086 8271305.
We are looking forward to seeing you all and we’ll have a healthy, fun filled afternoon as we launch this new exciting venture for the future of our school.
Thank you for all your support in all school activities.
Best regards,
Christine O’Shea
Our Fundraising Teams Will Be Calling To Say Hello
Our Let’s Build It Fundraising Team will be heading out all this week across the Firmount Community Area introducing themselves and letting you know all about this new and exciting project that we are embarking on. They will answer any questions you may have and let you know why this new building project is so important to the future success of our great school.
The school is hugely grateful for the support of the Donoughmore community to date. With your continued support, we can help to create this fantastic community and educational resource which will benefit children in Donoughmore for years to come.
